• 5. Garbage and rodents:

  I anticipate there will be at least 17 condos per floor which means 51 units in total and you can imagine the volume of garbage and how this will attract mice to the area and to our houses.

• 6. limited space for playground:

  There’s already a limited space for a kids’ playground in the area and this will widen the gap. By increasing the number of residents and not accommodating their family needs, this will cause frustration.

• 7. Extendicare Southwood Lakes

  Adding more traffic to that area will make it challenging for ambulances to arrive at the senior home Extendicare Southwood lakes which is a major safety concern. Every second delaying the arrival of ambulances as a result of the new development can be detrimental in life or death of the senior residents of Extendicare Southwood Lakes.

To conclude my presentation, we need your support to deny any amendment to the current zoning as it will change the area architect and have a negative impact on the subdivisions on Sixth Concession, North Talbot and South Wood Lakes .
