The police wanted to ticket him for parking sideways too but he has no choice - sideways is the only way he can park. He can't park on the street either because there are "no parking" signs everywhere.

I was told today that before the fire station was built, Chandler residents were promised 8 parking spaces in the fire station parking lot but have never received them.

So if council approves the new building lots to be 40 ft wide, Council will maintain the parking problem on Chandler and Meldrum.

If they keep the lots at 50 ft wide, at least those new residents could have a decent driveway to park at least 2 cars.

There is no way Council is going to fix the parking problems the current residents on Meldrum and Chandler have been dealing with for many years - all because 40 ft lots are too small.
