my home, and vehicle to remain clean from the dust that is caused from the trucks I would have to wash them once a day.

The trucking terminal operates all hours of the day and night. I am unable to sleep with my windows open as the trucks cause a great deal of noise from opening and closing their hatches, beeping as they back up, idling, and honking. During the night the trucks will idle with their lights on directly shining into our homes.

While the trucks are supposed to enter the yard from Drouillard many come down Metcalf, Albert or Hickory. This is wreaking havoc on our road causing damage to our vehicles. We have many young children living on our street and having transport trucks make a wrong turn is more than an inconvenience it creates an extremely dangerous situation.

I am also appalled that recently the city hired Dillion consulting to do a safety review of Drouillard road now Dillion consulting is the company who is pushing to have this by-law change. Seems to me this is a conflict of interest.

Drouillard road has made huge strides over the last few years with young families and businesses moving in. As someone who has witnessed the ups and downs of this area. I am thrilled. With the area's resurgence what may have been allowed in the past does not fit anymore. The traffic along Drouillard needs to be calmed so that people can walk and shop safely.

Please, while you consider your decision take into account what is right for the neighbourhood.

The following neighbours are in opposition as well:

1367 Albert: Marcel Hanson
