Good morning Mr. Mayor and Councillors,

My name is Robert Lessard. I am writing to speak against the Interim Control By-law Exemption for 2650 Metcalfe Street located in Ward 5.

I have been a resident of the Ford City area for 55 years. I have spent my childhood on the 1100 block of Albert road where I lived with my parents. I now live on the 1300 block of Albert road where I have raised my family for 32 years and now wish to spend my recent retirement.

The residents, and businesses, of hickory, Albert, and Drouillard road have dealt with trucking companies in the past and they have created nothing but problems.

The dust created by the trucks entering and driving in the lot impacts the health and well-being of our neighbourhood. I live about a 5 minute walk to the Garry Dugal Park. However, I am forced to drive my car to avoid the rock and dust storm that is created when a truck enters the yard. If I wanted
