Dear Ms Toldo,
We are graduating students with the Windsor Law Cities and Climate Action Forum. On 19 February we presented as delegates to the City’s Environment and Transportation Standing Committee urging the committee to unanimously endorse the report “Acceleration of Climate Change Actions in response to the – City Wide” of 30 January. Climate Change Emergency Declaration
Given the arrangements in place during COVID19, we will be unable to address council this Monday 4 May when the report is considered. However we would like to take this opportunity to urge Council to pass the report with recommendations. We will be providing more detailed comments directly to councillors by email over the weekend but would appreciate if this email is included in the official package for council.
