Risk Analysis:

The existing units are at the end of their useful life. Any delay in replacement may result in costly repairs to the units and Parks and Maintenance risk being able to provide the expected level of service.

Financial Matters:

These units have been approved by the Fleet Review Committee in consideration of forecasted fleet replacements and additions and by City Council during the 2019 capital budget process CR-B8/2019. Additional funding for these units was approved per CR448/2019.

The price for Part A is $122,499.00 plus HST, or $124,654.98 including non-refundable HST.

The price for Part B is $610,698.00 plus HST, or $621,446.28 including non-refundable HST.

The total cost of Parts A and Parts B is $733,197.00 plus HST, or $746,101.26 including non-refundable HST.

Replacement cost will be charged to the 2019 Corporate Fleet Replacement Project 7191001. Sufficient available funds remain in this project to fund these replacements.
