Recommendation:
THAT City Council APPROVE the award of RFP 156-19 Plow Trucks & Accessories; and,
THAT the Purchasing Manager BE AUTHORIZED to issue a purchase order to Team Truck Centres Limited in the amount of $733,197.00 (excluding HST) for the purchases identified in RFP 156-19 Part A one (1) cab & chassis unit in the amount of $122,499.00 (excluding HST) and Part B three (3) complete units in the amount of $610,698.00 (excluding HST), subject to approval as to technical content by the City Engineer and in financial content to the Chief Financial Officer and City Treasurer.

Background:
The existing units are at the end of their useful life. This purchase is to replace one (1) tandem axle dump truck in Parks (Part A) and three (3) tandem axle plow trucks in Maintenance (Part B) from the City fleet.
Discussion:
Discussion: To select replacement units RFP # 156-19 was issued by the Purchasing Department on Nov 18, 2019 and closed on Dec 5, 2019. Two submissions where received and evaluated. Technical specifications and cost were the two criteria which were rated and combined to give a final overall score. Team Truck Centres Limited submitted the
