Consultations:

Consultations were held with Municipal Departments and Utility Companies, which resulted in the information found in attached Appendix ‘ C ’ .

There were no objections from the municipal departments and utility companies for the requested alley closure.

Bell Canada has requested an easement over both the east/west and north/south portions of the proposed closure shown on Drawing CC-1776. Enwin Utilities and Enbridge Gas require easements over the north/south alley.

Notices of the meetings of the Development & Heritage Standing Committee and Council are published in the Windsor Star prior to each of the meetings. In addition, notice of each of the public meetings will be mailed to the abutting/affected property owners prior to the meetings.

Conclusion:

The Planning Division recommends closure of the alleys shown as “Part 1”, “Part 2”, “Part 3” and “Part 4” on Drawing No. CC -1776 attached as Appendix ‘ A ’ .

The closed portion of “Part Recommendation II of this report. 1” is to be conveyed to the applicants as in The closed portions of “Part 2”, “Part 3” and “Part 4” are to be conveyed in equal halves to the abutting property owners as in Recommendation V of this report.
