Heritage Conservation District under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act;
- (b) Development situated within the following Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Areas;
- City Centre West Urban Village CIP;
- Glengarry-Marentette Waterfront Village CIP;
- Olde Sandwich Towne CIP;
- (c) Development situated within an area where Urban Design Guidelines have been adopted by Council;
- (d) Development situated with and/or adjacent to a Civic Way, Main Street, or Gateway area; and
- (e) Development situated in a Business Improvement Area. (Amended by OPA #89 effective 19/11/12)
EVALUATION CRITERIA
- 11.7.2.7 Where an application for site plan control approval is made, Council or its designate shall review the submission based on the provisions of the Planning Act and the Site Plan Control By-law, including such criteria as:
- The relevant design guidelines and policies provided in Land use, Urban Design and Heritage Conservation chapters of this Plan, Volume II: Secondary Plans & Special Policy Areas and other relevant standards and guidelines;

Other municipal guidelines as may be appropriate;

Function and efficiency;

Safety and access;

Adequacy of servicing;

Grading and drainage;

Landscaping and lighting;
