Please note I, Henry Stam, was informed by my neighbour Mr. Ted Hopkins that a meeting is taking place regarding the closure of alley between my property and the property on the house on Dougall avenue.
Ted Hopkins received a letter from the city on Friday stating that he needed to contact committee by noon Friday for Monday meeting.
I DID NOT RECEIVE THE LETTER and therefore cannot voice my concerns because I did not receive the letter.
By glancing at Ted Hopkins letter there are several concerns I have but I not eligible to express. Under discussions:
b) property states not on main busy roadway
Answer: NO This is incorrect, I believe Dougall avenue is a main artery.
c) property (alley way) no sewers or drainage
Answer: NO
This is incorrect as there certainly is drainage in the alley.
FINANCIAL
Cost only a $1.00 plus deed preparation cost and survey cost.
I DO NOT WANT TO INCUR one penny in costs of any kind.
Also, I am probably not the only one who did not receive a letter that was apparently mailed out last Monday with a Friday deadline.
Please delay this process so all involved can make an informed decision.
Looking forward to your response.
Thank you,
Henry Stam
