8. Aeronautical Safety – All necessary Transport Canada and NAV Canada approvals and lighting requirements will be obtained by TELUS and provided upon request. Currently, TELUS does not expect Transport Canada’s requirements to include tower lighting (top) due to the height and location of the proposed facility.
In addition, an archaeology report was completed and found no evidence on the property or need for further study. Please see attached report for further information.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, the proposed telecommunications facility will provide enhanced wireless service and capacity to the area, supporting personal and business communications and public access to emergency services. We have concluded public consultation and responded to both reasonable and unreasonable concerns from the public, in accordance with the City’s Wireless Telecommunication Facilities Consultation Process. We respectfully request a Concurrence Letter be issued by the City that confirms our completion of both Land Use Authority and public consultation requirements, so that TELUS may build the infrastructure needed to enhance essential, telecommunication services to the surrounding community.
