Hello there,
I am proud to be from Windsor-Essex but I am not proud of our hospitals' current state. This is why it's so important for me to know that you will be taking the proposed notice of motion regarding the Hospital listed for the November 9 Council meeting seriously. It's no secret that the Windsor-Essex community is in dire need of a new hospital system. The buildings are over 50 years old and you can most certainly tell. They dont have the capacity needed to support our community which has grown immensely since it was first built. Caregivers are having to dedicate their energy to finding creative solutions to keep the place from falling apart. This takes their energy and focus away from administering care. Not to mention the process of dangerous transfers from one hospital campus to the next! It's time to take action and give notice to how critical a new Windsor-Essex Hospitals System is for the health and wellbeing of our community!
