Dear Councillors:

I am writing in connection with Item 8.19, the Carbon Budget Report and Item 8.2, the 2020 Third Quarter Operating Budget Variance Report in the November 9, 2020 agenda package.

The Carbon Budget Report reveals the disturbing news (p.536 of 643 of the agenda) that without emissions reductions, the City of Windsor will exhaust its 2030 carbon budget in 2025 and its 2050 carbon budget in 2029.
