All of this information, and much more, is available in a submission we made to MDOT on September 28, 2020. Those materials were provided to you by Councilmember Castruleda-Lopez on or about October 6, 2020 and were in your information packet for the October 19, 2020 Council meeting They are also currently available on the Ambassador Bridge website. The bottom line is that the motion the Windsor City Council passed to support the resolution was based on a false premise - namely that the resolution has been passed by the Detroit City Council - therefore, we respectfully suggest that the motion should be reconsidered and voided.

To date, in connection with our request to lift the restrictions on Class 3 and Class 8 hazardous materials, we have provided tours of the Ambassador Bridge to many Detroit City Councilmembers, representatives of various City of Detroit departments. and other elected officials. We would like to extend the same courtesy to you; although the Covid-19 pandemic certainly creates some challenges in that regard. We are working with Customs on both sides of the border to see if there is a way to conduct tours for members of the Windsor City Council and as soon as we have some clarity, we will reach out directly with an invitation.
