SUBJECT: Celestial Beacon & Streetcar Survey Results

This memo is an update on the survey results from the Celestial Beacon and Streetcar Survey that was seeking public input on the proposed design of the project. The survey was available on the City of Windsor website from May 29 to June 10, 2020.

In total, there were 1,212 responses to the survey which is more than any other survey sent out by Parks and/or Recreation in the past. A total of 12 questions were asked in the survey and five (5) of those questions allowed for the opportunity to type in additional suggestions/comments or responses.

The results of the survey are attached to this memo. Included in the results is an overall summary of the additional comments or suggestions that respondents had included. There were many diverse comments provided, and the responses were summarized based on common themes.
