Background:
On March 25, 2020, Administration brought forward the 2020 budget submissions for each of the eight (8) Business Improvement Area (BIA’s) (Report C86/2020). At that time, it was noted that a budget submission for Wyandotte Towne Centre BIA had not be provided and as such, Administration was not in a position to include in the recommended approvals. Further to this, City Council requested that the report be deferred to allow additional time for each of the eight BIA’s to consider any changes to their budget submissions as a result of COVID-19.
Subsequent to City Council’s meeting, WTCBIA held a Board meeting at which a 2020 Budget was discussed. The budget is provided to City Council for information.
Discussion:
The requested budget and related levy for the WTCBIA (Attached Appendix A) is $94,000 which remains the same as in 2019. There is a proposed decrease in salaries and wage expenditure of $10,000 and an overall decrease in capital
