Dear Mr. Mayor:

On behalf of our client, ADE Development & Leasing Corp. (applicant), we are writing to you today, in light of the Covid-19 situation, providing additional information for Council’s consideration on the above noted matter scheduled to go before Council on May 4, 2020. To assist Council, we have attached an updated Site Plan which was submitted to the City of Windsor in February for approval and the Fire Route Plan (see attached).

We believe that there was some confusion in the final recommendation to Council and respectfully request, after discussions with Councillor Holt and the City Planner that minor modifications to section 3 of the Council recommendation be incorporated into the Council Resolution. As Council is likely aware, this project is moving forward as a private condominium and not a Plan of Subdivision with construction to begin as soon as the Zoning By-law comes into effect.

We are in agreement and support of the following:

I. an amendment to City of Windsor Zoning By-law 8600 THAT BE APPROVED, changing the zoning of Part of Block A, Registered Plan 1259; identified as Parcel A in Appendix A of this report form Residential District (RD) 1.1 and (Holding) Residential District (HRD) 1.1 to Residential District (RD) 3.1, with the following additional specific regulations:

385. i. Main Building Height – Multiple Dwelling – Maximum - 12 m
