- Onsite Customers Responsibilities on the carving site
-
- Wood chips and chunks need to be removed from the carving site daily. If you have a fire place, you can probably burn the chunks. The chips and sawdust can be Used in your garden, to fill holes or for weed control. You can also use leaf bags and put it out for the garbage. Or, you could choose to pay our clean up fee and we will take care of it.
-
- Protect you gardens and valuables. If you are particular about your landscaping please cover things over with tarps. If there are objects like bird baths, BBQ's, NC units, or windows, with-in five feet of the carving, it should be moved or covered during the carve.
-
- Yard work and Contractors should be restricted during the carving period. Dust and extra noise can distract a carver, and it is hard to concentrate on carving if you're not sure what the guy next to you is doing.
-
- Nails; it is very important to inform us if you know that there may be nails in your tree. Hitting a nail with a working chainsaw will damage the chain, and possibly other mechanical parts of the saw. Flying pieces of metal can be detrimental to any onlookers and the carver.
-
- Any damages that do occur from hitting a nail during your carve, will be divided between the customer and my business 50/50.
-
- Crowd Control
- Chainsaw carving is an exciting thing to watch but it is your responsibility to keep spectators away.
-
- Please inform your neighbours about the carve in the days before it starts; this will stop them from coming over when they hear the saw, just to ask me "are you making a carving?"
-
- The use of things such as playhouses, swing sets, and pools, should be restricted during the carve times.
-
- Most people will have an unveiling party for neighbors and friend after the carving is complete.
-
