outside of the 5-year window, which cannot be pre-committed at this time. In addition, the total funding budgeted is not sufficient and an additional $5,036,450 is required to proceed for this work.
Currently, there is funding of approximately $6M annually in the Sewer Master Plan Implementation project (ENG-002-19). By leveraging $2,030,450 in 2020 and $2,030,000 each year from 2021 to 2023, for a total of $8,120,450, from the Sewer Master Plan Implementation project it will allow the Sandwich St. Sewer Rehabilitation project to proceed. To replenish the funding in the Sewer Master Plan Implementation project the 2025 funding of $3,084,000 from the Sandwich St. Sewer Rehabilitation project (ENG-013-20) as well as $5,036,450 in 2027 funding from the City Wide Sewer Rehabilitation Project (ECP-035-07) are being recommended to be redirected back to the Sewer Master Plan Implementation project.
