Terms of Reference
Group Members:
- City Council Members:
- 1 Council member, appointed by Council
- Community Representatives:
- Emergency Services (up to 3)
- City Departments & Agencies (up to 6)
- Health & Safety Agencies (up to 3)
- School Boards & Education Services (up to 5)
- Vulnerable Road Users (up to 4)
- Community Groups (up to 6)
Mandate:
To provide feedback regarding policy adoption, strategic priorities, initiatives and interim goals related to the Vision Zero Action Plan and materials presented by the Vision Zero Task Force. Group members will act as liaison between the Vision Zero Task Force and the organizations or groups they represent.
Timelines:
- 1. The 1st meeting of the Vision Zero Stakeholder Group will be scheduled as soon as possible after the adoption of the policy and confirmation of group members. The agenda for this meeting will include:
- a. Introduction to group purpose and initiative timelines
- b. Presentation of strategic priorities supported by current data
- 2. Additional meetings will be called:
- a. After recommended strategic priorities are identified;
- b. After recommended initiatives are identified; and
- c. After recommended interim goals are identified.
