Summary
- • Currently awaiting EA Notice of Completion. EA can be found at: citywindsor.ca/residents/Construction/Environmental-Assessments-Master- Plans/Documents/Wyandotte-Jarvis-Municipal-Class-EA-PIC-Display-Boards.pdf •
- • No mention in the EA of safety, increased risks or potential increases in vehicular or pedestrian incidents with bringing Wyandotte to an end on a residential road.
- • No mention in the EA of safety, increased risks or potential increases in vehicular or pedestrian incidents with bringing Wyandotte to an end on a residential road. No mention of heavy increased traffic flow or calming measures in the EA presented to the public.
- o The extension takes a current traffic issue and pushes into a neighbourhood which currently doesn't have an issue.
- o The recommendation to extend Wyandotte as a class 2 arterial from Banwell to Jarvis and then transform Jarvis into a 10.4m wide road + 3.0m wide bike lane (currently about 5.3m wide) to Dillon is unacceptable as this completely disrupts the existing neighbourhood dynamic. (schedule c)
- • No mention of noise increases in the EA that will disrupt a quiet residential street.
- • Residents on the West side of Jarvis experience severe rear yard flooding due to neibouring Banwell's elevation and a lack of drainage. EA Does not address rear yard flooding. (schedule d)

Residents on the West side of Jarvis experience severe rear yard flooding due to neibouring Banwell's elevation and a lack of drainage. EA Does not address rear yard flooding. (schedule d) This EA was packaged to residents and to city officials for their input as 1 project, not 2.
- o The Wyandotte Extension is 1 part, the Jarvis Local improvement and widening is the other project.
- o Jarvis residents do not support the local improvement as presented, requiring Wyandotte in order to improve the road. o Emergency vehicle maneuverability and access and municipal services are not necessarily improved by the Wyandotte extension. They are mainly improved the Jarvis local improvement.
- o Residents of Jarvis would be willing to work with administration on a solution for road and municipal service improvement to the street that would address legitimate concerns for emergency access or maneuverability, updated drainage and road paving but not with the Wyandotte extension design being required.
