To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you today to urge you to please consider moving up the replacement of the willistead park equipment. I am a mother of a beautiful 18 month old boy who loves playing at the park however every time we go to this particular park I have to be very careful with him and watch him like a hawk because the playground is extremely unsafe, especially for the little, little ones. All the paint is flaking off and he has numerous times after climbing up the stairs had pieces of of on his hands and tried to eat them. Not to mention the sand and the numerous times myself and others have found needles and other unsafe materials hidden within the sand. We live on kildare directly inbetween willistead park and the small toddler park off of Seneca Road and we have choosen to go to that park over Willistead for the majority of our park visits due to the reasons I listed above. I grew up in Walkerville and have many fond memories of playing at Willistead park, and it saddens me that if it isn't replaced soon my son may not have that same fond memory of Willistead as I did.
Thanks you for taking the time to consider this and read my email.
Regards, Vanessa Tolley
