7.6 Stormwater Management Unit

As part of the LIPMS, it is critical to involve other departments in order to address invasive species from multiple angles and utilize various resources.

The Stormwater Management unit will help to conduct invasive species inventories of SWMFs (specifically for the priority species Phragmites ) and look to implement invasive species control works on SWMFs adjacent to the Natural Heritage system or when conducting maintenance of their facilities.
