• 6.5.1.2 To ensure that a sufficient land supply for commercial purposes is maintained over the 20 year period of this Plan.

MPROVE CENTRES & CORRIDORS

• 6.5.1.3 To promote the stabilization, consolidation and improvement of existing commercial centres and corridors.

ACCESSIBLE

• 6.5.1.4 To locate commercial activities in areas which have sufficient and convenient access by all modes of transportation.

MINIMIZE NEGATIVE IMPACTS

• 6.5.1.5 To ensure that there are limited negative impacts of expanded commercial uses on adjacent sensitive uses.

ACTIVE COMMUNITY AREAS

• 6.5.1.6 To ensure that commercial areas are designed to function as locations for social interaction.
