BY-LAW NUMBER 111-2020

A BY-LAW TO FURTHER AMEND BY-LAW NUMBER 8600 CITED AS THE "CITY OF WINDSOR ZONING BY-LAW"

 

Passed the 4th day of August, 2020.

WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to further amend By-law Number 8600 of the Council of The Corporation of the City of Windsor, cited as the "City of Windsor Zoning By-law" passed the 31st day of March, 1986, as heretofore amended:

THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the City of Windsor enacts as follows:

1. By-law Number 8600 is further amended by changing the Zoning District Maps or parts thereof referred to in Section 1, of the by-law and made part thereof, so that the zoning district symbol of the lands described in Column 3 shall be changed from that shown in Column 5 to that shown in Column 6:

2. That subsection 1 of Section 20 is amended by adding the following paragraph:

389.  WEST SIDE OF CALIFORNIA AVENUE AT DAVIS STREET

For the lands comprising of Lot 50, Block C, Registered Plan 50 and Parts 1 and 2, Plan 12R-21775, the following additional provisions shall apply to a multiple dwelling:

  1. Lot Coverage – maximum 50%
  2. Side Yard Width - minimum 1.20 m
  3. Dwelling Units – maximum 6 
  4. Notwithstanding Section 24.26.5, a maximum of two parking spaces are permitted in the required front yard and Section 24.28 shall be modified to include a multiple dwelling.
  5. Section 25 shall not apply to any parking spaces in the required front yard, save and except that the parking spaces shall be paved with a hard surface consisting of paving brick or block, asphalt, concrete or any combination thereof, and shall be maintained in good condition.
