Structural Review – Dome Cladding Replacement Descent of the Holt Ghost 2895 Seminole St., Windsor
As per your request, we provide you with a proposal for the review of the proposed cladding replacement for the 5 domes at the subject address, and the structural review of the supporting structure for the cladding.
The supporting structure will not be accessible prior to removing the existing cladding. Therefore a permit will have to be obtained for the work, then structural inspection will take place when the cladding is removed and if it is determined there are structural issues, a second permit will need to be obtained.
The engineering scope of work is as follows.

Review and sealing of shop drawings provided by contractor to ensure the details meet the requirements set forth in the report prepared by the City of Windsor Heritage Planner.
At the time of existing cladding removal, the existing structure will be reviewed for structural adequacy and report prepared.
Inspection of the cladding installation to fulfill the requirements of the commitment to review form.
As per the scope of work, the engineering costs are estimated to be $10,000.00 plus HST. The engineering costs are based on estimated time spent at our hourly rate. This is a budget quote and the actual cost may vary. Progress invoices can be sent out as the project progresses to keep track of costs.
