The proposed AGCO Cannabis Store application at 4050 Walker Road, Unit 300 does not contradict the City of Windsor’s adopted guidelines for Cannabis Retail Stores

Sensitive Land Uses and Activities. However, the property is within 500 metres of the Toy Box Early Childhood Education Centre located at 3966 Walker Road (253m). The Toy Box Childhood Education Centre is a licenced child care provider for up to 190 children ages 0-13.

Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture

The proposed AGCO Cannabis Store application located at 4050 Walker Road, Unit 300 does not fall within 150 metres of any parks and/or recreation facilities.

There are no parks and/or recreation facilities within 500m of this location.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services

WFRS does not have any concerns with the location of this application.

An inspection prior to opening is required to identify the location and quantity of the product and any special hazards.

Planning & Building Department

The parcel located at 4050 Walker Road, Unit 300 is zoned Commercial CD3.3 which permits the proposed retail store.

Any renovations undertaken must comply with all applicable law, including Cannabis License Act, 2018 regulations, as well as the Building Code Act, 1992 and the Ontario Building Code. Applicants should consult with Development Services staff regarding necessary approvals, permits and inspections.
