I That Council ACCEPTS the signed request for the abandonment, repair and improvement to the Broadway and Healy Drain to be addressed under Section 78 of the Drainage Act.
II. That Landmark Engineers Inc. BE appointed as the drainage engineer to make an examination of and prepare a drainage report for the abandonment, repair and improvements to the Broadway and Healy Drains to be addressed under Section 78 of the Drainage Act, conditional upon there being no costs to the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
2. BACKGROUND:
The Broadway Drain is located on the south side of Broadway Street from Ojibway Parkway westerly to the Detroit River.
The Healy Drain flow originates at Scotten Road along the south side of Healy Street, the east side of SandwichStreet and the north side ofChappusStreet westerly to the Detroit River.
The City of Windsor has no record of existing drainage reports under the Drainage Act for the above mentioneddrains.
