Diane Bradford, Manager Regional Trauma Program / Injury Prevention at Windsor Regional Hospital, appears before Council to provide comment regarding the proposed “Electric Kick- Scooter Pilot” and provides information related to E-bike trauma and concludes by expressing concern related to potential Electric Scooter related accidents and the lack of the ability to collect data due to the information not being developed by practitioners and suggests that at minimum, helmets should be required for all users.

That the report of the Transportation Planning Senior Engineer entitled “Electric Kick-Scooter Pilot – City-wide” BE DEFERRED up to one year until such time that data reporting can be implemented and provided.
