Hello,

I'm writing regarding the proposed notice of motion regarding the Hospital listed for the November 9 Council meeting. Passing this motion is crucial to the future welfare of Windsor-Essex and needs to be taken seriously. I've been doing some research and did you know that Windsor-Essex’s hospitals were built at a time when the population had fewer than 20,000 residents. Today, with over 350,000 residents across Windsor-Essex, the current hospital network is vastly undersized to accommodate patient demand. This is an astronomical increase and it is clear just by looking at the current state of the building that limits have been pushed over and over which has created an unnacceptable environment for both patients and caregivers. Now is the time to address this through supporting the new Windsor-Essex Hospitals System.

Thanks,

Ted & Irene Alexander
