can appreciate the discomfort in changing directions when the wheels are in motion, but if ever there was a point in history where we can be the most proactive and prudent in addressing this vital issue, it is now. We cannot undo what is done.

3. I have often heard a plea from a charitable perspective, that the medical needs of the county have historically been made secondary and that the proposed location of the new hospital addresses that inequity. As is the case right now county patients will continue to travel to Windsor for minor procedures such as the changing of wound dressings, something that should be handled in their own community. Sure their travel time will be reduced but it does not solve the real issue and I think many city and county residents are under the false illusion that this shiny, glorious new hospital will solve these long standing inequities. I fear that In fact it might set the stage for a reduction of existing county medical services which will further aggravate the situation.

Thank you for your service to our community and for hearing our concerns.

Sincerely,
