A. PURPOSE

The purpose of this amendment is to add policies for open houses as allowed for under s. 22 (5), s. 34 (10.2) and s. 51 (18) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13.

The following section of the Plan is amended:

 A new Volume I, Chapter 10, section 10.2.19 – Open House Policies;

B. BACKGROUND

The current City of Windsor Official Plan (Volume 1: The Primary Plan) was adopted by City Council on October 25, 1999 and approved in part by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing on March 28, 2000 with the remainder being approved by the Ontario Municipal Board on November 1, 2002.

This Official Plan Amendment adds policies describing the purpose and components of an open house and describes the report contents of an open house report.

This Official Plan Amendment conforms with the Provincial Policy Statement (2014).
