WHAT IS THE HUB?

The Port Hope Community Hub (formerly the Canton Municipal Building) is home to the rural branch of the Port Hope Public Library . The library provides free access to books, dvds, and electronic resources; Wi-Fi; computer use; and various community programming.

The dedicated programming space for scheduled activities, which is coordinated by the Parks, Recreation and Culture (PRC) Department includes program options for children, youth, adults and older adults.

Downstairs in the Community Hall, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture will continue to administer social activities for residents, including summer camps, cooking workshops , and more. Rental requests can be forwarded to prcbookings@porthope.ca

WHAT ARE THE LIBRARY HOURS?

• Tuesday: 5pm-8pm
• Wednesday: 2pm-5pm
• Thursday: 10am-1 pm and 5pm-8pm* 
• Saturday: 10am-1pm
• *Thursday evenings will not be available for summer Library Hours
