SPECIALITY CAMPS - In addition to Day Camp, the following Specialty camps are available:
We offer a variety of specialty camps for both children and youth. Specialty camps are focused on skill development, team building, problem solving and new friendships with others with the same common interests.
Jr. Officers Fee: $166.00
Learn about investigating, problem solving, and what it is like being a police officer. Police will have a variety of activities planned just for you. Led by program staff and Port Hope Police.
Age: 8-12 years Date: July 6-10 Location: Port Hope Police Station
Magnificent You! Fee: $166.00
This camp focuses on life skills, team building and building self-confidence through activities such as cooking, sports and dramatic arts.
Age: 8-12 years Date: July 13-17 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre
Sports Camp Fee: $166.00
A week full of sports and more sports! Develop your skills in basketball, soccer, flag football, volleyball, floor hockey and more. Campers will be visiting the Jack Burger Sports Complex to do some water sports as well as pickleball!
Age: 8-12 years Date: July 20-24 Location: Port Hope High School and Jack Burger Sports Complex.
Kids in the Kitchen Fee: $166.00
This camp is designed to teach children the importance of a healthy diet through a creative cooking approach. Using the Canadian Food Guide as the starting point children will be able to create a food masterpiece each day to complement their daily lunch. Bring recipes home and share with family and friends.

Jr. Lifeguards Fee: $166.00
This program takes components from the Canadian Swim Patrol, Bronze Star and Bronze Medallion courses. Participants need to be strong competent swimmers. Drop-off and pick-up will be at the Jack Burger Sports Complex with the exception of trip day when drop-off and pick-up will be at the Town Park Recreation Centre. Level 4 swim kids required

Camp Outback Fee: $166.00
Campers will explore the great outdoors! Fishing, trails, survival and more.
Age: 10-12 years Date: August 3-7 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre
Camp Canvas Fee: $166.00
A week full of creative creations! Camp staff along with special guests will bring out your child's creative side through various forms of art including painting, sculpting, drama, dance and more.
Age: 8-12 years Date: August 10-14 Location: Town Park Recreation Centre
Jr. Firefighters Fee: $166.00
Sign up for a week of fire fighting, investigating and problem solving! Campers spend the week with the local Port Hope Firefighters learning about emergency situations, equipment and what it takes to be a leader. Led by program staff and firefighter volunteers.
Age: 6-9 years Date: August 17-21 Location: Port Hope Fire Hall
Waterfront Camp Fee: $166.00
A fun interactive camp to try a variety of activities as well as build on coordination and balance, teamwork, and problem solving. Participants will have the opportunity to try canoeing, paddle boarding and water sports. Maximum of 10 registrants. Please bring a lifejacket with you.

Tennis Camp Half day: $166.00 Full day: $200.00
In cooperation with the Port Hope Racquet Club, campers will benefit from learning skills and techniques through professional coaching in a noncompetitive environment.
