- The Duff- Baby site is noted in the recently completed Lord Consultant's Museum report as a spoke in the Windsor museum wheel. The Dining Room and Trading Hall offers opportunities to display period appropriate furnishing and interpretation materia l to provide this setting to enhance interpretation of the historical and architectural importance of the building and site. Important periods and events in the early years of Sandwich/Windsor, J. Baby French member of both the Family Compact and Executive Council, The War of 1812 (Tecumseh, Brock, Proctor etc.) and early Underground Railway (Andrew's storey) could be interpreted. Les Amis Duff- Baby note that they have already garnered interest and fund raising in providing furnishings as they acquired a circa 1820 buffet ($ 6500.00) with Baby family provenance from the Amherstburg Historic Association. In addition, Windsor's Museum has pieces from the Baby family (i.e. Charles Baby Desk and portrait, J. Baby dining chair and portrait etc.) that would be appropriate in the building. Additional fund raising for interpretation furnishings could be provided by Les Amis Duff-Baby and the community.
