Public Works – Engineering | The untraveled Perth right-of-way is approximately 18.3m (60ft) wide. There are not sewers located within the proposed closure. The property at 1692 Chappus is currently using the right-of-way as their driveway and storage area for vehicles and other objects. Additionally there are encroaching objects in the Chappus right-of-way that will require an encroachment agreement; otherwise, the objects will need to be removed. A driveway permit is required by the owner of 1692 Chappus to legalize and maintain the driveway approach as per AS-222. The Ministry of Transportation owns the lands directly north of the closure. The proposed right-of-way closure appears to serve no useful purpose; therefore, we have no objections to the closure application. |
