Tyco Announces ESFR Pendent Sprinklers for Warehouse and Storage Application Tyco Fire Protection Products has announced the TYCO Model ESFR-14 Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) Pendent Sprinkler (TY6236) with a KFactor of 14.0 (202). The TYCO Model ESFR-14 (TY6236) is UL Listed and FM Approved for warehouse and other high piled storage applications. The TYCO Model ESFR-14 (TY6236) leads the industry with the shortest profile, providing more installation flexibility than other ESFR-14 pendent sprinklers available today. The sprinkler is available with either NPT or ISO threads and with ordinary and intermediate temperature ratings. This new sprinkler replaces the TYCO Model ESFR-1 sprinkler (TY6226), with the same trusted and proven quality of all Tyco products. As inventory of the Model ESFR-1 (TY6226) is depleted, orders will automatically be transitioning to the Model ESFR14 (TY6236). Availability may vary by region and existing inventories. Tyco Announces Improved Red E-Cabinet for Faster, Simpler Install and Service Tyco Fire Protection Products recently announced the launch of its improved RED-E Cabinet – a pre-assembled fire protection valve package

enclosed within a freestanding cabinet. Ideal for areas without a dedicated valve room, the RED-E cabinet is designed to occupy minimal floor space and provide an enclosure for the fire protection valve riser. The new cabinet has a splash-proof drain cup that is designed to be fail-safe should drain blockage occur, as well as easier access to couplings, and aligned supply and drain headers across all cabinet sizes.
